A visit to the Villa Domergue

A visit to the Villa Domergue

An Art Deco-style mansion designed by Jean-Gabriel Domergue in 1934, the Villa Domergue is reminiscent of the beautiful Venetian palaces that directly inspired the artist. We love to discover the exhibitions presented there as well as live music events such as the Jazz à Domergue festival. For the record, this listed historical monument now owned by the city of Cannes is where plans are made for the annual Cannes Film Festival, which has, alas, been cancelled this year.

A place of dreams

A small corner of paradise located 3 km from the centre of Cannes, the Villa Domergue boasts remarkable architecture. Dotted with sculptures, the exquisite garden has a wealth of lush greenery and pretty terraces from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the entire bay. It’s the perfect place for an afternoon stroll and a breath of fresh air with your partner or family.

Unique exhibitions

Each summer, this superb building is opened to the public and offers sumptuous exhibitions in an enchanting setting. We especially remember last year’s remarkable tribute to the work of Niki de Saint Phalle.
