Each year in December, the Allées de la Liberté hosts the traditional Cannes Christmas Market. From the Bastide de l'Oliveraie, you can quickly get to the Christmas Market for a skating session on its temporary open-air ice rink. You can also easily access the Bay of Cannes where, very close to the famous Carlton Hotel, a spectacular fireworks display will take place around midnight on New Year’s Eve to take you into 2019 in multihued splendour. This year, the organisers have chosen the theme ‘Cannes is Magic’ to pay homage to the beauty and glamour of this world-famous city.
